316L Stainless steel sheet has good chloride resistance, corrosion resistance, heat resistance for intermittent use under 1600 ºC and continuous use under 700ºC. Polished 316L stainless steel sheet is more resistant to carbide precipitation than 316 stainless steel and can be used in the above temperature range. The maximum carbon content of 316L stainless steel is 0.03 and has good welding performance. All standard welding methods may be used for welding. According to the purpose, 316Cb, 316L or 309Cb stainless steel filler rod or electrode can be used for welding.
